DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon - Online Strats

Becuase Cheep Cheep Lagoon favors the guy or gal in front so much, you'll want to set yourself up as the frontrunner. This means that you need to seize the lead early; focus on avoiding others' items and taking aggressive (but safe!) lines throughout the first lap. The part that is especially thorny is the large turn around the rock formation--most racers will be knocked out before the turbo at the end of this turn or at the beginning of this turn as they are landing from the gliding section. Keeping your lead is usually not a problem if you use your items wisely.

In terms of trapping, I highly suggest that you place bananas on the ramp just after the turn through the rock formation. This turbo ramp is heavily traveled, and you can easily chain your trapping item to another (hopefully better) item. The gliding strip also makes for a good trapping spot (as always). Chaotic items work really well in the jungle part toward the end, and the underwater section in the middle of the track is usually the spot to start spamming speed-boosting items. As mentioned earlier, the middle of the pack will be a desperate fight for solace from the chaos, so you'll need to be extra careful if you're in the 4th-10th slots.

  1. After getting your first speed boost, drift right along the first turn and grab the coin along the inside of the turn. Release with blue sparks.
  2. Fly down the center of the gliding section and grab the middle coin along the landing zone. You should be up to two coins now.
  3. Drift right along this wide turn for orange sparks.
  4. Head down the turbo ramp in the center and trick off of the ramp.
  5. Head slightly left toward the first coin on the right on the sand bar. Afterwards, head for the water behind this coin.
  6. Grab the rightmost coin underwater and shroom through the cornercut. You should be up to four coins now.
  7. Head down the edge of the coral reef and continue up to the last sand bar.
  8. Grab the coin between the tree and the wall on the right while drifting right for blue sparks. Immediately release your drift and drift again to the left in order to powerslide through two coins along the beach. Release again with blue sparks.
  9. Drift right between the last palm on the right and the wall on the right. You should be up to eight coins now. Release with blue sparks.
  10. Drift right again for orange sparks along this wide turn. Release once the path starts straighten out in the jungle. Grab the coin along the left side of the track.
  11. Finally, powerslide left in order to grab your last coin along this dirt offroad part. Release with blue or orange sparks on the right side of the track and ignore the ramps. You should have ten coins now.
  12. Drift tighter and take more aggressive lines on the next two laps (especially on the underwater section). Everything else is the same. You should be set on coins.

N64 Toad's Turnpike (informally Toad's Turnpike, abbreviated N64 TT and not to be confused with Time Trials) was one of the fan favorite tracks in Mario Kart 64. Although simple in its layout, the course had dynamic obstacles in the form of imposing and hard-to-dodge cars. It also had killer avant-garde music. The course is basically a figure eight where one portion of the track dives underneath the other portion of the track. The cars driving down the highway are a varied bunch: there are buses with ramps on their roofs, regular old cars, pickup trucks with surfboards that you can trick off of, tow trucks with boost pads and gliding pads, and a few other types of cars. Toad's Turnpike doesn't have any shortcuts, unfortunately, so the course heavily favors the frontrunner. Those who fall behind will have very little chance of catching up.

N64 Toad's Turnpike - Walkthrough

  • Toad's Turnpike is an oddball course in that the cars on the course shuffle between five pre-set traffic patterns based on engine class. Because there are five different traffic patterns, there is no way for me to recommend a strategy that will always be perfect in an accessible way (and it's not like you can distinctly remember each pattern). As such, this strategy will be as general as possible and will not comment on most coins and all item blocks. I will leave special notes in italics for those of you racing 150cc, and, of course, time trial strats will be in its section below.
  • Depending on where you start, you may want to briefly drift right and swing outward after your starting boost to grab a bunch of coins on the right. If you're farther to the right, ignore the coins; if you're farther to the left, go for the coins.
  • Drift left along the very inside of the first turn. Depending on your traction, you will get blue or orange sparks. You can keep holding the drift for orange sparks, but you'll want to watch for cars along the inner lane. Be wary of drifting toward the inner rails too far as well.
  • Keep along the left side of the track.
  • Drift left along this next turn. You should be able to get orange sparks easily out of this longer turn. Keep holding your drift until you see the coins on the left, release, and grab the four coins on the left.
    • If you find a gliding pad truck near the end of this turn, you can use it to cross over the tunnel instead of heading through it. It's not necessarily faster (especially if you're already on the inside path), but it's a good way to avoid the mess down below.
  • Cross from the left side of the highway to the right side of the highway, being wary to avoid and weave between the cars.
  • Drift right along the inside of this turn. Although there are technically two separate turns, you can either chain them together if you don't get orange sparks out of the first turn or powerslide separately if you get orange sparks for each turn. As always, beware of cars along the inner lane.
  • After this short straightaway, drift right again. Get blue sparks out of this turn if you have high traction or orange sparks if you have low traction. Release your drift.
  • Head left across the straightaway to get back to the left edge of the highway.
  • The next two laps are the same other than the car locations. Again, because the cars are so random, I can't really help you with them. Just keep drifting well!

N64 Toad's Turnpike - Online Strats

Toad's Turnpike obviously heavily favors the frontrunner, so you'll want to do everything in your power to be that racer. The key to becoming the frontrunner is to nail the first few left turns on the first lap; you'll want to avoid getting pushed into the cars on the road, and you'll want to take as tight of a drift as possible. Because of all of the drafting and other crap along the innermost line, I usually suggest that you go for the center line instead; you will be mostly safe from the chaos of the beginning of the race, and you can easily catch up to any racer that actually manages to escape from the inner line with minimal problems.

Catching up is trickier. You'll want to make sure that you hit as many item blocks as possible and that you chian items as often as possible. Trapping works best along the inner lines, and chaotic items should allow you to plow through the inner lines most of the time. Still, you should be extremely careful of falling behind because it can be a proverbial death sentence on a course without shortcuts like Toad's Turnpike.

  2. Keep along the left edge of the track.
  3. Drift left along this next turn. Stay along the inside of the track and get blue sparks followed by orange sparks on this turn. Release your orange sparks so that you can drive through the coins on the left shoulder again; get all four coins. You should be up to seven coins now!
  4. After grabbing those coins, drive across the highway from the left side to the right side. Dry Dry Desert is a play on the desert in the game Paper Mario. When originally created, Dry Dry Desert matched the Paper Mario themes to a 'T' with aptly scary tornadoes and bountiful Pokeys. In Mario Kart 8, the tornadoes have been done away with and the end of the track has been transformed into an oasis. The track is still rather long, and it features a bunch of distinct parts: a ruins with falling obelisks, a quicksand pit with a monster in the center, and an oasis with billowing water currents. Dry Dry Desert is huge on offroad cuts, but frontrunners will still have a decent time with good lines. If you know the shortcuts and cornercuts well, though, you should have an amazingly easy time catching up!

GCN Dry Dry Desert - Walkthrough

  • Get your starting boost and head down this long straightaway toward the first turn.
  • Drift right along this wide turn. You can either stay toward the center of the track (which is smarter in large rooms when you're in the middle-of-the-pack) and grab three coins along the center arc of the turn, or you can keep inside. Either way, you should be able to get orange sparks. Release once the turn straightens out to begin the next bend.
Cornercut #1

This huge cornercut takes you through the sand to the right of the starting line. It's not hard at all to pull off, but you do have to know what you're doing (practice on Time Trials!). Anyway, so look for the last rock way out in the desert on the right. Find it? Yeah, it's got some spiky cacti on it and stuff. Once you locate it, you should look to the right of it a bit to see a sliver of desert that you're going to cross through. You'll want to start drifting right so that you can cut around the last obelisk on the right. Hold your drift until you have the right angle toward the desert. Start shrooming through the sand, heading straight over the hill and toward the track on the other side. Make sure to use your second shroom right after your first shroom runs out. The second shroom should get you all the way to the track, but you can use the third shroom to cut through the desert on the other side of the track as you pop out of the first part of the cornercut. However, if you don't want to use your third shroom just yet, try to keep as far right as possible so that you can simply start drifting left along with the next turn.

  • Drift left along this next turn. You'll want to avoid the Pokey in the center of the track. As with all of the Pokeys in this part of the track, you'll want to be wary of them curling over and obstructing some parts of the track. Although they can be annoying, you should be fine. Anyway, get blue sparks out of this small bend.
Cornercut #2
Items NeededTime SavedDifficultyObstacles
Mushroom1.0 s1/10None

Along the right side of the track along this bend, you should be to notice a fallen obelisk. You can easily shroom through the desert sand, trick off of the obelisk, and land on the other side of this wide bend. This cornercut is relatively straightforward, but it's a nice way to cut off some of the track and put some distance between you and the racers behind you.

  • Drift right along the next bend. There are more Pokeys in the way, but you should be fine if you stay along the inside of the turn. These Pokeys will tend to curl around coins that you can get, but they're absolutely not worth it considering the price for screwing up is pretty harsh.
Cornercut #3
Items NeededTime SavedDifficultyObstacles
Mushroom1.0 s1/10None

I consider this cornercut to be slightly better than Cornercut #2, but they're about the same. Anyway, instead of taking the entirety of the bend to the right, you'll want to cut through the sand on the left with a mushroom. You don't need to drift or anything; you should be totally fine with just a straight shot.

  • Drift left along this last bend for blue sparks.
  • Ignore the Pokey in the center of the track. Start drifting right along this really wide, long turn. Get orange sparks from this turn and release your drift once you reach the quicksand pit.
Cornercut #4

You can cut off all of the sand along this wide right turn by immediately drifting right after the bend to the left and holding your drift through the sand on the right as you shroom. Basically, you'll want to drift so that you head around the rocks on the right. Once you clear the top of the hill (keep shrooming), release your drift and orient yourself toward the right edge of the quicksand pit. Although this is a really useful cornercut, you miss an entire set of item blocks, which can be risky. This cornercut can't usually be done with two shrooms, unfortunately.

  • Navigating the quicksand pit is always a little (a lot) annoying, so bear with me. The quickest route is to drift along an arc on the pit about three-quarters of the way up from the bottom. You'll want to drive out onto the pit toward the right and drift left once the pit starts enclosing back up. Get blue sparks, release, then start drifting right to get out of the pit. However, I find this strat a little annoying; I prefer to drift along the outside of the pit and grab the four coins along the outer rim. Your drifting pattern will be the same (head right, drift left, then drift right), but it should be easier to control and blue sparks will be much easier to get.
  • Drift right along this next turn. I usually recommend drifting around the fallen obelisk (it makes things easier) because of the coins on the left side of the track. Hold your drift until you get orange sparks from the turn. (Note: There is a small cornercut on the right, but it's annoyingly difficult to navigate, and it honestly is not worth it. There's a much better cornercut coming up).
  • The oasis that is coming up has two primary paths. If you have a speed-boosting items take this path: head to the right of the large island on the right and trick off of the side of the mound. Skip to the section on the cornercut below. If you do not have a speed-boosting item, keep to the left of the mound on the right and trick off of the very front edge of the mound. Aim a little left afterwards to go around the water current toward the end of the oasis. Keep heading through the oasis and trick off of the incline as you exit the water.
Cornercut #5
Items NeededTime SavedDifficultyObstacles
Mushroom2.0 s3/10None

This is one of the biggest single shroom cornercuts in the game. After tricking off of the right side of the mound on the right, you'll want to get ready to cut off a huge right turn by shrooming through the sand on the right beyond the oasis. Locate the last tree in the water and prepare to turn rightward with a drift just before it. This means you'll want to drift about a second or two before that tree. Hold your drift into the sand a bit (you'll actually catch some air as you leave the water, clearing a bit of the offroad) and shroom once you land on the offroad. You should be able to make it all the way to the road leading up to the finish line. This cornercut is a little tough to master (the maneuvering is key), but you should be able to pull it off after some practice.

  • Drift right along this tight turn. You should be able to get orange sparks with ease. Stay as far inside along the turn as possible.
  • Drift left immediately afterwards for blue sparks. Trick off of the fallen obelisk just after your drift and continue on up to the finish line.
  • The course remains the same for the next two laps for the most part. The Pokeys will be in varying degrees of annoyingness, but, unlike the GameCube, Dry Dry Desert is rather static.

GCN Dry Dry Desert - Online Strats

Dry Dry Desert is an odd course. On one hand, the track favors the frontrunner with complex obstacles and plenty of opportunities to have significantly tighter drifts than your opponents with the offroad terrain. On the other hand, Dry Dry Desert has tons offroad cornercuts and shortcuts, meaning that it isn't all that difficult to catch up if you know what you're doing. Generally, I recommend that you go for the lead if you have a clear shot at it. Otherwise, hang back and use your shrooms wisely to catch up and surpass the leader (who will likely be blued anyways). The main problem is deciding where to use your shrooms as most cornercuts will force you to miss an item block. The cornercut at the very end of the course and the cornercut at the very beginning of the course are both large enough to warrant missing an item block, in my opinion. Otherwise, you should focus on chaining smaller cornercuts in between the item blocks so that you can get another item.

Trapping isn't really effective anywhere on the course. Chaotic items also aren't all the useful. The course tends to force a bunch of racers together in the 6th-12th position while the rest of the racers are spread out in the front. As such, you'll want to be extremely careful when you try to take cornercuts; you may end up passing someone who can simply shoot you right on back down to where you were. You really, really, really need to be smart with your shrooms on this course.

  1. Get your starting boost. Orient yourself ever-so-slightly toward the right.
  2. Drift right along this turn. Keep toward the center to drift through the three coins along the center arc. Release your drift relatively early for orange sparks.
  3. Hop and drift left inside of the Pokey to the right. Get blue sparks out of this small turn.
  4. Hop and drift right again. This drift is very tricky as you will want to have the correct orientation to drift through the Pokey that is bending over a coin. It will take some practice. Release with blue sparks.
  5. Drift left immediately for blue sparks.
  6. Drift right again. This time, we're going to ignore the Pokey and take the inside drift. Keep drifting right along the entirety of this turn until you get orange sparks. Release once the track straightens out toward the quicksand pit.
  7. Aim toward the right outer rim of the quicksand pit. Drift left along the ring of four coins for blue sparks. Release then drift right for blue sparks.
  8. Drift right again, this time along the three coins near the outside of this long turn. Release your orange miniturbo once the course straightens out toward the water.
  9. Stay to the right of the mound on the right. Trick off of the side of the mound and continue on the right side of the oasis.
  10. Drift right and take the large single shroom cornercut through the sand on the right.
  11. Straighten out and continue up to the finish line.
  12. Rinse and repeat for the next two laps. The main difference is that you will want to take more aggressive lines and that you will want to avoid the Pokeys by taking the inner line rather than drifting through them.

SNES Donut Plains 3 (informally Donut Plains 3 or Donut Plains, abbreviated SNES DP3) is like a shorter version of the previous course in Banana Cup, GCN Dry Dry Desert: tons of offroad shortcuts but still ample opportunities for frontrunning. In fact, getting a safe spot in first place is the preferred strategy, but we'll get more into that later. Anyway, Donut Plains 3 takes place in a marshy swamp with pools of standing water and harsh, lush grass along the dirt roads. The course is almost totally flat, and the underwater sections are only toward the beginning of the track. Donut Plains 3's ending features tougher drifts with wet dirt terrain.

SNES Donut Plains 3 - Walkthrough

  • Although this part of the track seems a bit windy, you'll just want to get your starting boost and aim a bit to the right along with the track.
  • Drift right along this tight turn. There are a ton of item blocks here, so you should hit at least one of them! Get blue sparks out of this turn and release your drift.
Cornercut #1
Items NeededTime SavedDifficultyObstacles
Mushroom1.0 s2/10None

For this cornercut, you'll be cutting through the grass on the right and ending up just before the bridge. The key to this cornercut is entering the grass on the right at the right spot. I generally recommend drifting so that you hug along a little indent in the grass on the right side of the track (the track basically extends out to the right a bit). Start shrooming once you hit the grass and hold your drift outwards as much as possible; you should pop out just in front of the bridge with orange sparks. Release your drift and straighten out to match the bridge.

  • Keep straight along the bridge. Be wary of getting pushed off by other racers. If you do get pushed into the water, merge back onto the track by staying near the bridge and using the dirt shelf near the edge of the marsh as a ramp back onto the main track.
  • Drift right along this wide turn. There are several coins throughout the turn that you should attempt to grab. You should be able to get orange sparks with no problem. Release those sparks once you hit the bridge.
Cornercut #2
Items NeededTime SavedDifficultyObstacles
Mushroom1.5 s3/10None

This cornercut is actually kinda difficult, especially with only one shroom. (If you have multiple shrooms, this cornercut is a cinch). Basically, you're going to cut the grass to the right of the track after this first bridge; you should be able to shroom all the way to the water after the turn. Your shroom will barely (and I mean barely) give you enough power to reach the water. You'll want to strat drifting right toward the end of the bridge. Immediately cut into the grass on the right once the bridge ends and try to cut off some of the grass by flying through the air a bit until you need to shroom. Shroom and keep drifting. Keep drifting/shrooming until you reach the water on the other side of the cornercut. Release once you reach the water and merge with the main track underwater.

  • Head off of the bridge. Now you have a choice; there's a shroomless cornercut on the left that I will describe below, but it requires you to miss an item block. If you already have a good item or want to put a decent amount of distance between you and the other racers, go for the cornercut (if you don't have an item, you'll be taking a risk). If you really need an item, stay down the center of the track.
  • Drift left along this tight turn once you leave the water (start drifting once you leave the water). Keep your drift tight, and you should be able to get orange sparks with no problem.
Cornercut #3
Items NeededTime SavedDifficultyObstacles
Mushroom1.5 s4/10None

This cornercut is accomplished by drifting along the inside corner of the wall underwater (instead of heading up the normal way) in order to cut off a good portion of the upcoming hairpin turn. Basically, you'll want to start drifting early and drift through the water on the left until you head up the dirt siding of the marsh and onto the track. You should release your drift once you fly onto the track and land. The main problem with this cornercut is the orientation when you exit the water; you can end up flying off the side of the marsh and into the offroad on either side of the track. You definitely need to practice this cornercut in order to get a good feeling for how you should be coming out of the water. The recommended orientation can vary depending on your vehicle, by the way.

  • Usually, I recommend that you do not drift through these bends here. Drive through the two coins on the first part of the bend and aim toward the right edge of the track at the upcoming turn.
  • Drift right through this bend. Try to stay as far inside along the bend as possible; because the next part is wet, your kart will have the tendency to fly outward if you hit water. However, if you stay near the inside of the turns, you will be able to keep a much tighter drift because the outside of the track is like normal drifting. You should be able to get orange sparks out of this drift--release once the track straightens out.
  • There are Monty Moles down the center of this straightaway, and they usually burrow in circles. You can trick off of the ground that they've recently burrowed through for an extra speed boost. Aim toward the left edge of the apex of the next bend.
Shortcut #1
Items NeededTime SavedDifficultyObstacles
Mushroom1.0 s2/10None

To the left side of this bend is a gap in the block wall; with a mushroom, you can shroom through the grass and the gap in this wall to end up on the track on the other side. Once you make it through the gap, you'll want to start drifting right in order to merge with the turning track in front of you. This shortcut is extraordinarily simple, and the main thing to keep in mind is that you want to remember to drift!

  • Drift left along the first bend. You'll want to stay toward the very left edge of the bend in order to not drift outward. You should be able to get blue sparks out of this bend, but it's not necessary; it's far more important that you have a good angle for the next turn.
  • Immediately drift right and ensure that you are drifting along the very inside edge of this next turn. The inside edge of the turn will allow you to keep a very tight drift, which is insanely useful for putting some distance between you and the racers behind you. You should be able to get orange sparks out of this turn with no problems.
  • Continue down the straightaway to begin the next lap. The next two laps will be exactly the same, barring the Monty Mole locations.

SNES Donut Plains 3 - Online Strats

The main problem with Donut Plains 3 online is that you only get six items throughout the entirety of the 1:30 race. Six items. This limitation can make it rather tough to mount a comeback, and the shroomless cornercut heavily favors the frontrunner. Thus, whenever you get triple shrooms (or any shrooms for that matter), you'll want to save them for the two cornercuts toward the beginning of the race because that's honestly going to be your best chance at making it back to the top of the pack. Taking the shroomless cornercut is a big risk, but it's a risk I will advise you to take most of the time simply because the item blocks that you're skipping are always a cluster regardless of whether you're there or not.

Anyway, so the key to doing well on Donut Plains 3 is to drift aggressively along the first lap and to take the shroomless cornercut. The other racers will be too focused on taking out the racers who take the normal path to worry about one guy slipping by the rest. Trapping and chaotic items work well on the first bridge, and, as mentioned above, speed-boosting items should be used on that really big cornercut after the first bridge.

N64 Royal Raceway (informally Royal Raceway, no normal abbreviated, not to be confused with N64 RR) is one of the several circuits in Mario Kart 64, and it drives a lot like a circuit in Mario Kart 8. The track is heavy on drifting, and you really need to drift well in order to shave off time and put distance between the racers behind you and yourself. Anyway, Royal Raceway is themed around Peach and the other royal racers in Mario Kart, and the circuit even drives by Peach's Castle's grounds. All of the track is normal asphalt, and there are even a few Toads in swan boats and hot air balloons throughout the track. In general, Royal Raceway favors the first places because of the lack of any major shortcuts, but the large gliding section certainly does create some opportunities to screw other racers over.

  • Get your starting boost and orient yourself slightly toward the left.
  • Start drifting left once you reach the first turn. You only need to get blue sparks from this first turn, so release your miniturbo once you get them.
  • Drift left again. Ignore the coins down the center of the turn and drift tightly down this bend. You should be able to get orange sparks from this turn with no problems.
  • Drift right for orange sparks out of this sharp turn.
  • Drift right now and get blue sparks out of this small turn (grab the inner coin as well). Depending on your vehicle's traction, you may be able to hold this drift to the next turn for one large orange miniturbo rather than two individual blue miniturbos, but it really depends on your combo.
  • One last time! Drift right again for more blue sparks. Grab the inner coin again as well.
  • Drift left along this bend for another blue miniturbo.

The ramp on the left is pretty obvious, and it makes this shortcut rather easy, too. You'll want to aim for the ramp and use your shroom to reach the ramp. The other cool thing about this shortcut is that you get to chain your mushroom to another item as you trick off of the ramp; as such, if you have triple shrooms, you'll want to use your other two shrooms on the minor, uncovered cornercuts along the last few turns.

  • Drift right along this tight turn leading to the turbo ramp. You'll either want to drift very tight along the red-and-white striped edgeguard, or you'll want to drift along the inner coin arc for two more coins--your choice! You should get blue or orange sparks out of this turn depending on your traction.
  • Drive straight up this ramp. I recommend that you move to the left side of the track as you prepare for the gliding section; you can grab two coins along the left as well as setting yourself up for the next turn in a bit.
  • Trick off of the gliding pad. Although there are a few hot-air balloons floating around this area, you should be able to avoid them easily. I recommend that you land early in the center of the track to grab the two coins down the center line of the road.
  • Drift left along this next turn. You should be able to get blue or orange sparks depending on your vehicle's traction.

You can cut the grass off to the left of this turn by shrooming and drifting through the offroad. This is the biggest single shroom cut on this course, but it does force you to miss an item block, which is inhibitory. Regardless, you'll want to drift left once you have a clear shot at the track on the other side of the offroad; hold your drift and shroom. You should get blue sparks out of the shortcut. Release your drift once you reach the track again.

  • Drift right along the inner corner where the coin is. You should get blue sparks out of this turn.
  • Now drift left and go through the next coin along the inner arc. Get blue sparks out of this turn.
  • Drift right again for another coin. Blue sparks again.
  • Finally, drift left. This turn is slightly longer, but you will most likely only get blue sparks out of this turn. Be sure to grab the two coins along the inner arc of the turn!

You can cut off the grass along the left of the last turn if you shroom and drift. You'll want to start drifting left a bit earlier than usual (or just go straight if you don't really care). Shroom through the grass at a manageable angle and release your drift once you clear the grass. You should get blue sparks from your drift.

  • The next two laps are exactly the same, so you shouldn't have any problems with the advice listed above.

Royal Raceway - Online Strats

As mentioned in the course description above, the key to doing well on N64 Royal Raceway is to nail all of the drifting components. You've really got to know your drifts or you can end up powersliding outside of all of your opponents. It's also hugely important to survive the first set of item boxes, and the key to doing that is to know when to take an aggressive drift and when to give yourself some space. If you can take the inside drift without any problems, do so; if you need to take the outside drift because the area around you is crowded, do so. It's really all about self-preservation around the first few bends; if you can make it to the gliding section without getting hit or bumped off of the track several times, you should be in really good shape. The key to catching up, of course, is to spam your speed-boosting items along the major and minor cornercuts.

Shocks work really well on that gliding section. Traps also work well on the gliding pad, so you'll want to place bananas there to trip up other racers. Green shells can be deadly on the launching pad for the gliding section (the part of the course that rises up above the surrounding area) considering there are all of the walls along the sides. Otherwise, chaotic items really aren't all that useful with all of the drifting and bends in the track.

It is with blue shell-filled, banana-sniped, bomb-splosioned blood, sweat, tearns, and agony that I conclude this guide. The following sections contain other misc. information that didn't really fit in the Introduction and various concluding sections.

Contributing

As I've stated throughout this guide multiple times, I'm really looking forward to constructive contributions from the community. Feel free to shoot me emails about anything that seems inaccurate that's already in the guide or to tell me about new discoveries or potential additions. Moreover, I'd rather you contact me about info which you are unsure rather than not contact me at all; I will make the decision whether the info should be added, but I won't be able to make that decision if you don't tell me about it in the first place, right? There are many ways to reach me, and I have no preference among them. See Contact Info for more! Any contributions that make their way into the guide will be appropriately attributed to the correct contributor(s) in the Credits section.

However, please do not send me spam or any sort of hate mail. If you do, I'll probably end up sharing it with my guide-writing buddies and making fun of your saltiness. :3

Contact Info

The following table lists all of the ways to get in contact with me. Larger contributions usually work best over email, though FaceBook is also an amenable option. In addition to the following contact means, you can also send me a PM (Private Message) via GameFAQs, but I would only do that if the contribtuion is small. By the way, FaceBook is by far the most likely to garner a near-immediate response from me.
